In the third quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation category on the Android platform in Austria saw significant activity among the top applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, each app displayed distinct trends in terms of downloads and active users.

ÖBB Scotty experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 3K downloads in early July and peaking at about 5.2K by mid-September. This app also saw an impressive rise in weekly active users, climbing from nearly 99K to over 114K by mid-September.

The ÖBB Tickets app maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, averaging around 3K. Active users for this app saw a slight fluctuation, peaking at 28.3K in mid-September before settling at 26.7K by the end of the month.

WienMobil showed a steady increase in downloads, with a peak of 4.3K in mid-September. Its active user base also grew, starting at 17.5K in early July and reaching nearly 24K by mid-September.

Bolt: Request a Ride had fluctuating download numbers, beginning with approximately 2.3K and experiencing a gradual decline to 1.7K by the end of September. Active users hovered around 19K throughout the quarter, with a slight decrease towards the end.

Lastly, Uber - Request a ride maintained stable download figures, averaging around 2K. The app's active users saw an increase, starting at 73.8K in early July and rising to 77K by mid-September.
